1. Who we are (Controller)

MusaKain Financials Oy (Y-tunnus 3543870-7), based at 90570 Oulu, Finland, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Asad Masood is the person to contact for any privacy question.

2. What data we collect and why

a) When you contact us through the website

Through the contact form or live chat we receive your name, email, phone (optional), business type, the topic you've selected, and anything else you choose to write to us.

• Purpose: to respond to your enquiry and discuss whether our services fit your needs.
• Legal basis: your consent (you submit the form voluntarily) and our legitimate interest in responding to potential clients.

b) Technical data from your visit

Our hosting provider keeps server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability purposes.

• Purpose: to deliver the site, detect abuse and keep things running.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a safe and working website.

3. Cookies

This website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.

Our hosting provider (Hostinger) sets a small number of strictly technical cookies that are needed to deliver the site — load balancing, caching and basic security. Under EU ePrivacy rules these are classified as strictly necessary and do not require your consent.

If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will add a clear cookie consent banner before they are set.

4. How long we keep data

• Unconverted enquiries (people who contact us but don't become clients): kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Client data (once you sign a service agreement with us): kept as required by the Finnish Accounting Act and the Tax Administration — typically 6 years from the end of the relevant accounting period.
• Server logs: rotated by our hosting provider as part of their retention policy (typically 30–90 days).

5. Who has access to your data

Personal data is accessed only by:

• Asad Masood and any colleagues at MKF Financials who are directly involved in handling your enquiry or your accounting.
• Our hosting provider (Hostinger International Ltd., based in the EU) acts as a data processor on our behalf, under a written agreement.
• The Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto) when we file returns on your behalf with your Suomi.fi authorisation.
• The Incomes Register (Tulorekisteri) for payroll-related filings.

We do not sell or share personal data with marketers, advertisers or third parties for unrelated purposes.

6. International transfers

Our hosting and email are operated within the EU/EEA. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA in the normal course of business. If that ever changes, we'll update this notice and put appropriate safeguards in place (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding personal data we hold about you:

• Access: ask us what data we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Rectification: correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal retention obligations we have (for example, bookkeeping records).
• Restriction: ask us to pause processing while we resolve a question.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format.
• Objection: object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest.
• Withdraw consent: if processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time — for example if we add a new service or change a provider. Significant changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
